Team Nevada
In the cycling world, there are hardcore racers and hardcore offroaders; however, many cyclists are neither. Some people simply enjoy the exercise and freedom of cruising around, seeing the sights and breathing the fresh air. This site is for those who are starting out in cycling, or long-time enthusiasts of the sport, and everyone in between.
Kyote Bayte is a Nevada-based cycling site created by a Colorado-born cyclist. The input of other cyclists offering their experiences and knowledge is welcome. If you would like to submit a post about your experiences, routes you recommend, or cycling in general, please contact me.
Team Nevada is the start, not the limitation.

Routes
The routes listed on this website are created on the MapMyRide app. There is no affiliation with MapMyRide and other routes can be listed with other apps, or simply drawn on digital maps and posted as a jpeg image.
Note that all routes will have ‘at risk’ aspects to them and all cyclists must understand those risks and accept the potential dangers of the route.

Cycle Babble
In addition to routes, there are discussions of experiences and ideas that try to make cycling safer, healthier, and more enjoyable for the more casual cyclist.
Not all those who ride need a route.
Paul Kiser-Henderson
There is no cyclist ‘personality.’ For some, cycling is about getting from here to there in the fastest time. For others, being in motion is zen and time and place are irrelevant. In the epilogue, there is a bike and a human, and places to go
